Frequently Asked Questions

Everything IGNOU students need to know about results and grade cards.

How do I check my IGNOU Grade Card 2025?

Enter your 9–10 digit enrollment number and program code (e.g., BCA, MCA, BA) in the search form above and click "Check Grade Card". Results are fetched directly from IGNOU's official server.

What is the IGNOU Term-End Examination Result?

The Term-End Examination (TEE) result shows your theory exam marks. IGNOU conducts TEE twice a year — in June and December. Your final grade card includes both assignment and theory marks.

How is IGNOU CGPA calculated?

IGNOU uses a 10-point grading scale. O (Outstanding) = 10, A+ = 9, A = 8, B+ = 7, B = 6, C = 5. CGPA is the weighted average of grade points across all completed courses.

What is the passing mark in IGNOU?

Students need to score at least 40% in theory (Term-End Exam) and 40% in assignment separately to pass a course. Both components must be cleared independently.

When is the IGNOU result declared?

IGNOU typically declares TEE results within 45–60 days after the examination. December TEE results usually come in February–March, and June TEE results in August–September.

What if my grade card shows "Not Completed"?

"Not Completed" means you have not submitted your assignments or have not appeared in the Term-End Exam for that course. Complete both components to get a grade.
